Introduction To Wellbeing Workshop

Here at Havering Talking Therapies we offer a Introduction to Wellbeing session which aims to deliver the foundation knowledge of what the service offers, what CBT is, what to expect in therapy and understanding Depression and Anxiety.

The course is a pre-requisite to 1-1 therapy and is a one off course that lasts for 1.5 hours. The course is also pre-recorded and is delivered on Microsoft Teams so there is no requirement to turn cameras on or speak during the duration of the course. We offer this during the daytime and evening and is delivered by our Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.

Grief is the response to loss, particularly to the loss of someone that has died, to which a bond or affection was formed. Although conventionally focused on the emotional response to loss, grief also has physical, cognitive, behavioural, social, cultural, spiritual and philosophical dimensions. CfD Bereavement Group will be a mix of psychoeducation and therapy to offer processing of grief which is sometimes a strong, overwhelming emotion for people … grief is the natural reaction to loss.

We are currently running an online Worry Management Workshop for people who might be struggling with worries that lead to feeling very anxious. We all worry at times. However, if you find that you are constantly worrying about all sorts of things, regularly worrying about the worst case scenarios, or over-thinking things a lot, and may result in avoiding things that might make you feel anxious, or affecting your concentration, energy, or sleep, this workshop may be helpful for you. The group is set up in a workshop style and aims to teach tools and techniques to reduce the impact of worry on the mind and body, and to also find ways to cope with uncertainty.

Mood Management Workshop

The Mood Management Workshop aims to teach you practical skills to tackle symptoms of low mood by exploring unhelpful patterns between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
